Job Description
Industrial Sales Engineer needed for a Denver area Distributor of engineered products including valves, heat exchangers, pumps, steam traps, and other products.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum requirements include B.S. engineering degree from accredited university or equivalent hands on training. A minimum of 5-10 years working in industrial sales is required. Candidates must have sold directly to heavy industry customers including power, chemical, petro-chemical, mining and oil & gas. Candidates without direct outside sales experience of process equipment into heavy industry accounts will not be considered.
This is a hunting position; it is not farming or account management. You must have a proven record of establishing new customers and growing total customer profitability.
This is a hands-on position that is involved in all aspects of sales and service. Overnight travel may be required. Good mechanical, electrical, computer and communications skills are required.
A competitive base salary will be paid based on experience and an uncapped commission will be paid based upon sales results. Company benefits include Medical insurance, 401K with company match and supplemental Aflac insurance.
Candidates must currently reside in the Rocky Mountain Region and have a network of established industrial customers in Rocky Mountain Region.
